So what's the latest greatest clutch for FI?
So what is the clutch of the week? For a daily driver car making say no more than 650rwhp? Is it the Spec 5, Spec 3+, Textralia or the Mcleod Dual disc? Clutch needs to be able to handle the track as well-at least 4000-4500 side step launches. Both output shafts, mainshafts and a DTE brace have already been added. I currently have a RAM HD but I don't know if it's up to the task. Thanks!

I bought a rossler th400 as a replacement clutch. It's held up better than any other clutch I've ever run.
Getting a working clutch in one of these cars for high hp would take a unified act by congress. Some people have good luck with the spec 5, mine died after 1000 miles or so.
I gave up after 4 clutches in 5000 miles

Clutchmaster is big with the Mustang crowd-I've been waiting for them to hit this market. What are all the details? Has it been tried at the track? Does it need an adjustable master?

The first one we did was on a cam, exhaust, and nitrous car running 11.0.
We took out a Centerforce and he loves the Clutchmasters.
I would do an adjustable master.
I do have these clutches in stock ready to ship.

I just bought the ram twin disk with upgraded ceramic metallic friction material. It is way overkill but the street version may be what your after.Mine is rated to 1200 horsepower. The street version is rated to 900. It to me seems like any harsh race style clutch.

The new kits come with the adjustable master included. We just did an install on a customers car and didn't need to use the adjustable master. It worked just fine without it.

I'm running a Textralia OZ700 w/ a iron flywheel and McCloud adjustable master cylinder. No issues with it holding up so far. Mods in my sig. Dyno coming next week....but guessing it's got around 450RWHP at a minimum running through it.
