Vortech IC and H&C guys please come in!
I just finished up my friends car which has a Vortech IC SC with patriot ported LQ9 and a split duratin cam with a 114 LSA. The car has the regular vortech upgrades( helper pump and bigger injectors) and the vortech tune. I didn't think the H&C would throw the tune off that much but boy was I wrong. Just wondering what other upgrades you guys had to do to get your cars running right. My wide band readings are on the lean side. So I need to adjust the VE tables but I think I may need to go further into the fuel system. so any help would be great. I don't know what size injectors vortech changes them too so that info will help also. First off I gotta get a boost gauge on this thing so I know how much boost I'm at when it starts to go lean. So I'll take all the help I can get at this point.

I messed a while with the Vortech tune using LS1 Edit: timing, fuel... everything.
Result: I have the better driveability with their timing and stock VE.
Actually changing the VE table won't affect the WOT AFR: you can tune it no problem just with the PE table.
For the injectors you need to check the IFR table: what Vortech loaded on my PCM was really wrong...
Just old school: get the ltft's around 0 and then tune WOT with PE + wideband.
