Default Where oh where did my whine go???

I think I fried the unit. I heard some chirping high pitched sounds coming from the engine area. Then it went away. Then a couple minutes it came back. Then the sound locked up and no Procharger whine.

Any idea on the cost of a rebuild? I guess I'll find out when I call tomorrow. This sucks

I'll take it out later for a spin and see if there is any boost built.

I just paid ATI $330 just to replace all the seals in my P1SC. (it was leaking oil.) And it took over a month to get done.

The idler pulley may of gone bad for you, which will make high pitched chirping sounds as you described. I'd take the blower belt off and spin both components over to see what has gone bad. More than likely it is the idler. Bob

Well, that's good in a way. Much easier and quicker of a fix. Bob
