Valve size for P&P FI Heads?!?
Ok guys... Based largely on Harlan and others suggestions I am going to stay with my 317 heads. When I have a valve job done (Port and Polish) what should I have done? Intake side? Exhaust side? What size Valves? I have heard all kinds of things on what a FI setup benefits from vs: a NA setup

Thanks Firebird.... Common guys. I have read that the effect of high flowing heads is less on FI applications as we force the Air through. So what about the exhaust side? What is considered a good flow # for a FI application? Are guys just strapping on untouched #317 heads and going 9 Seconds with them? Are they just doing the exhaust side of these? Whats the deal guys?

My current 317 truck heads are ported and polished, and have 2.05/1.60 valves that have been cut down to fit the stock seats. They are .100 longer than stock so that there would be more room to fit a beefier spring without getting into coil bind.
I've got a set of AllPro heads in the box, and they have 2.08/1.60 valves I believe. Off the top of my head I don't recall. They are also supposed to have .100 longer than stock valves but I will check to make sure.
