BOV open at idle?

Default BOV open at idle?

My blow of valve is opening at idle, my vac gauge says right aroud 11 either pounds or inches of mercury, i dont remember how its measured, where can i either get a stiffer spring or how do i fix it?

You might have more luck if you said what kind of BOV it was, where it is mounted in relation to the rest of the system, etc. Also double check that measurement. It makes a difference.

You running a Tial 50mm? You can order a stronger spring for it from them. There was a thread not too long ago also dealing with this and discussing the different springs.

Heres a thread somewhat related. You may want to keep the spring you have. It won't hurt anything.

im running a tial 50 mm, its located about a foot before my throttle body.

I have a tial 50 w/ 9psi spring and it is closed at idle
