Added some underhood bling and picked up 2psi...
So, I added a new intake manifold and side brake ducts. Couple of hours to do the intake and 16 hours on the brake ducts. Think it makes the car look much better... Picked up 2psi of boost. So either I had a hose clamp leaking or a leak on the LS6 intake somewhere. Car feels much faster though..

They are a kit from breathless performance that are ment to be stuck on. Instead I ground down the lip and glassed them in smooth.
The ducts look really good. Do you have a pic from the front aiming towards the back that shows how far they extend out?

No, its a Weiand polished intake. If any of you decide to get one, you need to know a few things that arn't in the instructions. When you remove your old intake you need to take a dremel and grind all the round sides of the head bolts flat with the head surface. They stick out just a little and the intake will not sit flat and you will get a vaccum leak. Aslo grind a little off the tops of the valley bolts and if you have the LS6 PVC sticking up you need to clearence it a little as well. First time I installed it I had a bad vaccum leak. You also need to add a little sealant around the MAP sensor seal on a boosted car. The whole they have is a little big...No big deal. Nothing new for a modded car...

No its not more restrictive. Once you have it in you hands and can compare the two side by side you can see how well its designed...
