Default CR with BOOST!!!!

hi guys im still a bit of a newbe, and can not do a search (cause the net here in Iraq sucks)what i want to know is,what the best CP to run with boost?
Set up will be :
forged 346-347
EPPs custom blower cam
6.0 heads
42lbs injecters
in tank weblo pump
P1SC
the car will be a DD.
iv seen people say that 9:0:1 is the best but my thoughs are:if a can run more compresion then i wont need as much boost to make the same kind of power and it might rev faster getting in to boost faster and be quicker at the track and on the street.
I am still very new to this kinda stuff os plase dont slame me to much, but please help me with what iv got wrong. thanks for you time, and if this is to vage then please let me know what it is that i need to ask when posting stuff like this
thanks Ricky

On centri's yeah, 9:0:1-9:5:1 is what I have heard. I think the turbo guys usually go a little lower than that due to the amount of boost they run. But on a p1 with moderate boost, that sounds perfect. I think Bob at EPP boost a forged 347 to like 15psi with a D1 and made 750rwhp!!! I run my D1 at 12psi

If you are getting forged, unless you already have the P1 why not get the d1?

With a smaller pulley on the head unit of the blower, the blower gets spun up quicker, which brings in the boost earlier in the rpm range. I'd shoot for 9.0/1 to 9.5/1 and run with a lot of boost. Bob

You're going to need a pulley in the 3.4" range, and you will probably see max boost with the P-1SC in the 12 psi range. The P-1SC simply can't produce a whole lot of boost on a 346 ci engine, especially with a more aggressive camshaft.
You're also going to want to upgrade to 60lb fuel injectors, and I'd run dual GSS340 Walbro pumps. Bob
