Default Should I pin the crank and spark plug question

Ok so I am installing a D-1 procharger kit on my car right now. the kit I got is an older kit and is a 6 rib setup right now. I am planning to next winter upgrade to an 8-rid setup. my questoin is can I get away with out pinning the crank for this year and wait to pin it until next year when I get a new balancer and everything? I will be running 8psi for right now.

Also I have a set of TR55 NGK's in the car right now that have maybe 7-8k miles on them. Can I get away with still using these plugs or should I change them? Use the same type plug or something else.

Thanks
Dan

I would pin the crank, it can come loose even with a 6 rib, especially with a stock balancer.

Just put some TR6 plugs in it and be safe..

I would certainly pin the crank, extra insurance. TR-6 plugs would certainly be the best thing you can do to the motor.
