Default Cam for 402 tt

Hi guys, just wondering what cams the guys with 402TT's are running? I was thinking something along the lines of 232/236 @ 116. I've never picked a cam out before so any help you guys could offer would be appreciated. Compression will be around 9:1 and it's a streetcar.

TIA

I'm going with our SI turbo cam INTMD8 spec'd out, valve events arn't as crucial to turbo motor vs. NA, still against popular thoery; cams with some overlap work well on a turbo setup.

TU1 cam 225/225 .581/.581 113LSA Comp XER grind. Was used with twin GT35s and made 820rwhp though a TH400.

I'm running a 224/236-114 cam and like it alot. I've been itching to try something like 230/236-114.

The 232/236-116 will probably make power, but the IVC is very late at 48 deg ABDC, making it soggy on low-end. I'd put it on a 114 to bump up the low-end and, as Frazer said, the overlap will probably help you as long as you don't have a terrible backpressure ratio (like >2/1).

Thanks for the responses guys, keep them coming. I plucked those numbers out of thin air so that cam was just a guess. Mike would that 230/236 cam work well on a 402? Or does the capacity not matter too much?

Forgive me if the questions are stupid i'm trying to get a bit of a handle on this stuff.
