Default Supercharger/OilPump Question

Hi folks,
I could get a used Paxton Novi2000, since it needs engine oil for lubrication, someone told me that it would be a good idea to replace the stock oil pump by a high volume pump. I also have a oil cooler, then with a SC installed there is a lot of oil that needs to be circulated.
Is this a necessity, or just an good idea to give you peace of mind or just a total waste of money?

If it was me I wouldn't mess with it, especially if you currently have good oil pressure. Bob

I've just thought it would be a good opportunity to replace the oil pump while I have the oil pan removed to weld in that bung for the return line
