Red face FP and Octane

Hey fellas, if your fp is dropping a lil low... around 42-45psi from 60 and you are on a conservative tune (set for 93), could you throw in some 100+ to bandaide the problem temporarily and insure agaings detonation? Temp. meaning no track time. It's so hard to stay outta boost I tell ya.

Yea, it's going in to be fixed next week. It needs to be inspected to make it steet legal and I don't want to have to tow it to the shop... I was wondering if a really high octain fuel would Guarantee no detonation on this little trip. I'm looking at about a 30mi treck one way. I really don't want to have tow it if I don't have too, you know?
