BOUGHT A PROCHARGER-what other mods do i need
I broke down (and the bank lol) and bought a procharger I was just curious if there are any helpful items that will help me utilize the power without tearing up the bird, I have read numerous stories and been told that the factory 10bolt doesnt last very long and most people upgrade to the 12bolt , but I was told by my performance shop that if I keep it simple and dont slap a set of slicks and let my lead foot hammer down on the pedal that my factory 10bolt will be fine being that my car is an automatic and not a manual, I want the horsepower but it is a daily driver and I just want to hold my own with a few cocky drivers in my town and I know that the unexpected things that you dont plan on happen will happen but I want to make sure I do what i can to to save some $$$ any info would be much appreciated

If you purchased the complete system including fuel pump, injectors and Predator then consider adding a wideband to the car. While the Predator is not as powerful as a stand alone tuning suite it is a powerful tool in its own right and you can optimize the tune for your setup. Unfortunately you can't log with the GM tool but you can view real time data...take a friend along.
The as delivered ProCharger tune is good for about 450 rwhp in a bone stock car on a Mustang dyno with a stick and 7 psi. Expect a bit less with the auto.

"and let my lead foot hammer down on teh pedal"...
ha, that's inevitable man... you're gonna hammer it more and more, the more power/fun you have with it... you're gonna want the 12-bolt... and if you think you'll go REAL big someday, i think alot of guys will suggest a 9"
