Default Cleaning a intercooler??

Hello just had a quick question for everyone. The intercooler i bought is used and looks kinda dull on the front. I was wondering if there is a good way to polish it up a bit?

Thanks

The 2 part acid wash they sell for cleaning wheels will make it look cleaner.
