Default STS Guys, where does this hose go?

When you first remove the lid and air box the hose I think goes to air pump. about a 1 inch hose coming of d/s of box and going into the d/s fender near front. Do i cap this remove this????

The only "hose" going to the air box is the IAT sensor...so im confused. Can you take a pic? Is it vacuum hose?

not in the lid but attaches to the box under the lid, where air collects on both sides it looks like the air pump hose and has a plastic snap band clamp.

you can reach the outlet off the air pump inside the fender well, just open the flap on the bottom drivers side pull the hose off the air pump and put a small breather filter on it. This cleans up the engine bay also

Just take out the whole "AIR" system, if you live in a state that doesn't require emisions. Taking it out will get rid of the metal hoses going into your exhaust manifolds aswell. Then you can get race style headers!

Oh no...

Headers of any sort (for the most part) are bad for the STS. Stock mani's work best IMO. Just leave all that crap on. Delete the codes and pull the fuse for the air pump. Should you have to sell the car down the road, more people would be willing to buy it if it's "stock" and 50 states legal.
