Are you guys changing Rods when changing valve springs?

Default Are you guys changing Rods when changing valve springs?

Just put in a set of Patriot dual gold in my 01 WS6. The rods are right there dont know why I dont just change them with stronger ones. Was told the stockers are safe with my setup. I have an sts stage 2, FMIC, boosting 8 psi

Why not? Like you said, you're already in there... and if you don't put some new ones in? God forbid, you ever have a problem with one in the future you'll be banging your head on the wall. Hard.
