Default STS KIT-Is it possible to have toooo much vacuum pressure?

I dont seem to have any vacuum leaks but my vacuum is reading at -64 at idle. I can enter boost just fine but when im driving and I let off the gas the vacuum goes to -99. Anyone had this problem?

That's normal, with or without a turbo.

I meant to say the vacuum reading through my boost controller, is this still normal?

If it's hooked to the plenum, then that's normal. If it's hooked up to the charge piping, then it's impossible.

I'm not sure its a greddy boost controller. My vacum used to be around -40 when I was stock but now I have cam/heads, i had a vacum leak a couple weeks ago and I found the problem. I fixed the hose and now my vacum is crazy.

It's normal for any gas engine to go to full vacuum in the intake plenum under decel. -99 kpa is full vacuum, or close to it.
