car stalls

car stalls hey guys any idea y my car idles weird itll satll at 6 ,700 rpm and then start surging to like 400 500 but not over 700 and hen sometimes just stalls???....cleaned the maf sensor....didnt work only does it once and a while....

Uh did it just start doing this? Or did it always do this?
If it just started, then I'd look for air getting in where it shouldn't. Check all the clamps and connections on your intake.
If it's alway did it, then it's a tuning issue most likely.
