No it's not a new custom cam grind but rather the oil temp, coolant temp & tranny temp, in that order, that I observed while driving on the highway at approx 60 mph today in the 90+ degree heat with the A/C blasting. It's fairly obvious that FI applications do not like the heat. I already have a Dewitts radiator and a tranny cooler ( a small one but a cooler nonetheless). Prior to being FI my tranny temps rarely, if ever, exceeded 200 degrees and usually hung around 180 or so with the oil temps usually at 210 or below and coolant at or just below the 200 mark in similar heat. I also noticed less boost than usual under hard acceleration but I was told that it is normal the way my car is setup.

I run a B&M 28,000 GVW transcooler, was reccomended by some guys I know in the 8's. I used to run a 19,000 one that looks like it's half the size.
