Default Maggie Dyno Sheet

Well here it is. There is something going on with my block I am having oil consumption issues and I honestly think there is more in her once we get a few things straight. We are working to figure it out. We thought maybe a catch can would solve it but its not looking like that is the case. If you look I am having a dip at 3000-3500 RPM's for some reason. I foul my plugs when I hit boost so we are thinking the oil issue in my cylinders is the cause just not sure why its doing it yet. I been busy and troubleshooting this down instead of buying a crap load of parts to fix an issue thats not the issue. Anyway sure it does not have the peak HP of a centri S/C but I am happy with these numbers. But I know once my oil issue is solved and we get it retuned she will go up a bit, maybe around 530 or so at the rear in HP. But with my setup I wanted TQ down low not HP up top/ SO 400 RWTQ at 1700 RPM's is pretty good in my book.

Good looking numbers. I would love for my car to have numbers like that.

Looks good Damon, I agree that there's more in it once we get the oil burning resolved. That torque curve is just silly, I'm sure you will surprise a few people at stoplights!

We have one more introductory kit left if anybody wants it, just let me know,

What cam are you running? Is there something like a 9-10psi kit available?

He's running the same cam as me, and it's the Speed Inc blower grind from Comp Cams, smooth idle, hard to tell it's got anything in it until you hear the engine rev and the blower start building boost, by then you're wondering wtf was that, as he leaves a cloud of smoke driving away.

Ed can get you a smaller pulley for 9-10psi. I'm running a 2.9 pulley on my setup. That requires a little throttle cable arm clearancing.

Damon,

Nice numbers, man!! Gotta get mine finished when i get back, or get my buddies to get it tuned while I'm over here. I can't wait to see what else yours has in it, because mine should be fairly close to yours. I sent you an email to the address you sent in the pm, check your spam box.

Thanks, been while since I heard from yea...

I am happy with everything so far just frustated with trying to make this car work. I have about 3-4 different none engine/blower related issues at the start as well. I am down to 2. The A/C is not working and the window motor is shot. Not a big deal lol. I will be checking the motor out this weekend. I will keep everyone updated.

For oil, take off all PCV hoses, plug them and run a breather setup. If that doesn't do anything the next would be to lower the timing and make sure A/F is not to rich. I've found that Mags on the trucks have a habit of fluttering the rings with too much timing down low.

After that if it doesn't work it's time to check the pistons.

I elimated the PCV altogether with a moroso catch can with 3/4" tubing running from the valve covers to the can and vent to atmosphere. My A/Fis 11.8. Timing is around 22 i believe.

We are checking the pistons this weekend.

Yeah, I lost my commercial internet access over here so I can't chat. I'm rarely online as it is, work is keeping me busy. No worries though, time is flying. Only 4 months left to go!

Hang in there with the car bro, it really has come along nicely. I'm sure you'll get the bugs worked out and it will be running like you want. Just don't sell it right after that.
