Default FMU Installation

If I'm running 36# injectors will I have to use the FMU with my supercharger with a 4psi pulley? Any help would be greatly appreciated. jwcej@msn.com

I dont think anyone uses FMUs anymore in the LS1 world. My first LS1 procharger kit came with an FMU years ago and it didnt work out very well. I ended up picking up a set of 38lb injectors from a vortech kit and used a MAF translator to tune it.

But that was way before LS1edit and such was available, 36lb injectors and a good tune is all you need for 4-5psi. A 255 in-tank pump wouldnt be a bad idea either. No reason to mess with an FMU with the tuning software available these days..

kp,
The kit came with inline booster pump. Which I was thinking about using. That's great I don't have to use it. Because I was thinking about leaving my wet kit on and down sizing the jets to a 50 shot.

If its the procharger inline pump that will be fine for what you are doing.

I used a procharger inline pump, 42lb injectors, P1SC @ 8psi and a 50 dry shot to run 10.40s @ 130 with a completely stock engine w/headers and never hurt a thing so it will be fine at 4-5psi.
