Default rods/pistons

before i install my procharger, i was going to replace the pistons with mahle's. and add arp bolts to the rods-on ebay, there is a guy that sells the mahle pistons/rods for about $80 more that i can get just the pistons for-i know there prob. imported, like eagles or something-has anyone had experience with these-or would my stock rods be better with just the arp bolts-thanks

u might as well put stock pistons in if ur not going to do a decent rod. ppl say rods will only handle 500hp but they could go any time. what kind of performance and boost are looking for? if i were u i would do it right if its going to be apart prety much a re-built with rods and pistons would be ok. do some research on what ur set up you def dont want to build it backwards and blow somthing up
