I know from the pictures that it is older, straight-blade impeller technology. It is half a turbo with a gearbox attached, but then again, so are Procharger and Vortech's - they are just newer technology.

the one im looking at is not on eBay but a local performance shop has it on craigslist they are a dealer for "jet" and well considering i have not found either good or bad things about them, with the price im probably going to buy it.
If it turns out to be junk oh well if pissed away much more money on other much less important things.
Ill play the Gianni pig and if it actually works decent, it might be a good alternative for us poor folk lol

I don't think he is saying everything from ebay is junk. I personally have bought some stuff off ebay. I think he means that the Jet system seems to be an ebay exclusive. Nobody I know has hands on experience nor do I think they would try it based on no reviews, technical info or any kind of proof being video or data to back it up. Might work well for a starter set up. Who knows?

Low Price doesn't always equal Low Cost in the long run. I don't like the idea of having <potential> junk upstream of my motor, but I hope it works out for you. Report back, good or bad.

im running a junkyard 5.3 right now i figure that guys are having good luck with them with turbos so why not a sc

i actually expect to blow this motor up and maybe another because im also learning how to tune on it.
once i start getting things running working decent im going to throw a forged 370 at it and if need be a f1c procharger

im interested in what makes sense,
the fact that im learning to tune my car myself?

that fact is that over the past few years the car has had many changes
from full bolt ons, to bolt & n20 to cam bolt on & n20 to h/c/i
ive spent a lot of money on multiple retunes and even more money when these "professional tuners" make mistakes

if your trying to insinuate that im just an idiot that is too cheap to buy quality parts, then you sir are wrong, i have invested close to 20k into this car so far and i was planing on running a f1c with a cog drive and still might, but plain and simple im curious what this charger will do.
its been proven many times that cheaper not popular product can work well

im i saying that this charger is as good as others, no absolutely not.
immediately i noticed that this charger does not have the impeller technology and it also has straight cut gears (probably noisy as hell) but will it move air and create boost? im sure of it.

but i do appreciate all of your very helpful information on this tread

well that fine for him
but i have actually taken offense that a moderator has made useless, unhelpful and almost demeaning posts in a thread that is looking for technical information

but whatever
he has to keep his post count up someway right?

I have not heard of a jet supercharger. Is it one of those 12 volt motor driven things? Any links to info?
