Default Tuning

I am going turbo route sometime this month. Curious about tuning it myself. I have some experience tuning my bike with labtop software. I am looking at HP tuners if i decide to go it myself. I think the reason I want to go it alone is incase I make changes down the road.

Hptuners is decent program.Have it and am using it NA first so when get the turbos on hopefully soon will already have a pretty good handle on it. There is an hptuner forum also and its a pretty common program now so that is also good. I wish it had a few more turbo type things on it like my dsm programs. They have built in two step launch, antilag, no lift to shift, nitrous window control..etc. HPtuners has 2 and 3 bar tuning which is one of its main advantages.

So from what I gather I could get a turbo tune file online for a turbo set up and then custom tune from there?
