Default Got Methanol but what about Intercooler

I have methanol injection for my sts kit but not a IC yet. I really dont feel like spending a fortune for it not counting some fabrication to get it to fit. Do you think an IC is necessary? For right now I'm prolly only gonna run maybe 10psi. Whatta you guys think?

well, thing is the bar and plate design is pretty standard. it really comes down to weld/build quality. a lot of ppl here have had great things to say about the obx stuff. ive never seen comparisons of fmic's here. fmic efficiency may be a question for the advanced forum. i dont know if i could answer that question.

IMO spend the money and get an intercooler just to be on the safe side. If you don't feel like doing too much cutting, you could always purchase a set of 4.5" Procharger Intercoolers along with their Air Plenum (Molded or Polish) and call it good. However, at the same time, you'd end up spending the same amount of money for a new set, as you would for an Intercooler. Try surfin' through the classifieds section and see what you can find.
