Default Instant fittings

For you guys using instant fittings is 1/4" OD big enough for WGs and BOVs? Tial seems to think that 1/8" ID is not big enough for a BOV.

Haven't run it yet, but that's the same size my "big red" ATI race bypass valve came with.

I initially tried 4mm OD on my car. I then switched to 6mm OD tubing.

The small diam tubing should be fine, but if the diaphragm/chamber of the BOV has a slight leak, then that small loss of air, can be a big thing with such small diameter tubing, and signal strength can be lost.

I'll continue to use 6mm OD

Quite a bit of people run the 1/4 legris fittings without issue.

If this is of big concern, the more expensive but more flexible option would be -4an fittings.

Sorry I did not get back to your PM Phil.

I would say a 1/4" minimal ID. I know of a couple cars running with that and not having an issue. I know that is What Jake @ Tial suggests as well.
