Forced induction
Ok so i am trying to research some information on turbos and superchargers for my SS camaro, and it seems there are a lot of options out there so i have decided to refer back to yall because most of you have either installed one, read a forum on someone who installed one, or have atleast done some research on them... I'm not rich so I'm trying to keep it as cheap as possible but I know it takes money to go fast so I'm gonna have to fork over quite a bit for this upgrade...
SO with all that being said, can yall throw out some good suggestions on what route to take and some of the upgrades I will have to make such as fuel pumps ect. that is needed for the upgrade

alot of people will tell you forced induction and 'cheap' dont belong in the same sentence. which for the most part is true. theres alot of unforseen cost besides the turbo.. like possible need for complete fuel system, new clutch, tuning, forged internals. blower cam, ect. if you want to be making the boost.
else if you just run a few pounds...whats the point? you spent 7k and are making 500hp. could have done that with h/c/i and a 150 shot for way less money.

Yea, boost is an addiction an will never be quenched. A solid bottom end on your motor along with valvetrain, alone will cost you between 5-7K. Fuel system upgrades such as pump, injectors are not cheap either. Not to mention that our transmissions are not that strong and our rear-ends are notorious for failure. You cant get that power to the ground without tires and suspension too. You see what all supporting mods you need before a good turbo system will work. It takes time and even more money.
