Default 3" Aluminum doughnuts...where?

Searching the "G" search page...can't find ****. Do they make aluminum doughnuts? Any sponsors carry these?

I need 2(total) 3inch doughnuts, preferably 1/8th inch thick.

I'll continue searching in the meantime, and direction pointing is appreciated....

lots of mild steel and stainless haven't seen any 3" aluminum. you may have to piece meal it in with stainless or MS and use a v-band at the connection instead of welding.

Been think of that. Sucks though(more money in flanges.clamps). But, I guess I would have had to buy the doughnuts anyways

Here you go for the 3" aluminum donuts:

http://secure.chassisshop.com/partlist/499/

Please note: The inner seam requires finish welding after cutting.

...also, just talked to racepartssolutions,...they will carry them in about a month.

Also, they have 3" V band flanges,..which, every turbo place that I called, said they have never heard of a size that large. Well, i found those, 15 bucks each. Soo,..on my way to completeing this project.

Thank you guys for your help, I appreciate it. Been kinda scatter brained over the past few weeks....as build a turbo project like this,...to me is all new.

Thanks again...peace out.

are you serious????

thats one of the most common sizes. i've never had a problem finding any size aluminum v-band flanges, a local company also makes up to 7" flanges.

yeah man. Dead serious. Most places I called,..didn't even call me back. The places I called, and did spend time with....just didn't know what to tell me. They said,.."well,...we've got aluminum BOV flanges but, they're like 50mm" ....no thanks buddy.

race parts solutions hooked me up. They're local,..soo... it worked out nicely. I was about to do some industrial equipment searches if I couldn't find what I needed.

I just order 2, 3" donuts. Friggin 243.00bucks. crazy but...in the name of weight savings....worth it.
