Default STS dyno #s are in!!

Just got my car finished up with the 317 heads that I ported myself. At first the numbers were 490rwhp@7psi with little timing and low afr, but with some tuning It made around 500rwhp@7psi. We tried to to get some numbers at 10psi but the dyno made it difficult to see 10psi and get accurate numbers. All this mind you on a stock 109,000 short block and 10 bolt with some things done to it. I think if i could get some good pulls at 10psi it should be right around 550rwhp. Feels like a monster on the street! What do you guys think? Should click off low 11s to high 10s with some good traction.

Pretty damn good! Glad to see another STS member pulling those types of #'s and proving STS can be kicked to the side!

Keep us informed with the track times.

Nice numbers especially for 7 psi. What trans? Do you have meth/intercooler? If not... i Wouldn't want to play tooooo much with 10 psi.

I have a 4l60e with pretty much all you can do(z-pack, corvette servos, shift kit, updated parts, and stronger shafts) and a 3200 yank converter. I have and ebay intercooler 31x12x3, no meth and on 93octane gas. 10psi is my just incase I am losing or going up against a fast car, but usually I run 8psi tops. Cant wait to go forged and let her rip!

I also damn near beat a mercedes sl 600 with the stage II Renntech package last week before I had the car tuned for the intercooler. We raced from a dig and I jumped out front about a car and held him off till about 115. I was only running 7psi with shitty tune then. Next on the list all these stupid mustangs that think they are hot ****.

For the fuel system I have a 355lph walbro pump in a modified fuel bucket. The lines are all stock and I have 48lb injectors running at 83% duty cycle. Going to need bigger injectors soon lol.

I'll never understand this type of thinking.
What makes your car omnipotent? I mean it makes no more power then a basic 5.0 Mustang with a turbo kit (hell in some cases you make LESS then a lot of street based turbo 5.0 cars).
500 HP in a 4000# car will get your feelings hurt in Houston. Not just by Mustangs, but civics, Rx-7's, other LSx based GM's, Supra's, Neons and a host of others.
Ehh, whatever...I say every race you embark on, you race them for money.
