Turbo vs Supercharger vs Nitrous
hey guys
Ive been very interested in nos turbos and superchargers but cant quite find the information im looking for:
Of the 3 above, which is best all-around? (price, reliablaty, mpg, ect.)
It it possible to not be N/A and still be very reliable?
What excess parts are required to sucessfully and safely have one?
What will this do to my gas mileage?
and NET cost at end?
ANY and ALL help is GREATLY appreciated guys!
Thanks!
Tanner

im gonna take a shot in the dark here, but u seem concerned about price...
therefor, nitrous is the cheapest way to go fast...and going fast means
u will break things...and so starts the chain of events that will lead
you to the poor house, divorced, alone, and criminally insane.
now buy a horse and buggy as the price of oats is at an all time low.

TSSC to answer your question, imo I think any one of those setups would be great but each kit has it's own seperate pros/cons and what it basically comes down to is what is your budget? Cost wise, Nitrous would be the cheapest however, how often do you plan on using it? Which then leads to how many times a week/month/year will you have to refill your bottle? Checkout the stickies in this section as well as the Nitrous section and see which one you like the most. One more thing, what are you goals for your car? Good luck Bro...

im more of a street racer due to no local track within 150 miles (and no local place to fill bottle). Yes, Price is a factor, but I do know that its going to be $4000+. My number one prioraty in this is to make 550+ hp (im at 395hp) and still be a pretty solid, reliable car. Would I come out ahaid if i stayed N/A and just used the money on several performance parts as far as reliabality and MPG is concerned?

Best reliability = naturally aspirated Ok, for the above....SC
Best MPG = turbo (and most HP if done right)
Real question is.....what's most important to you??
