Default -6 or -8 feed line?

Hey guys Im running new feed line to my new rails and was wondering if it would be worth it and if there are any benefits to just step up to a -8 line from the tank. Currently have a 255 intank pump and a fuel filter regulator with 3/8th inlet and outlet.

With a single pump, there is not any benefit to doing either.
The front mount regulator is your biggest benefit here.

A -6 is not much bigger than the stock feed line so there is not much to gain here either.

If you plan bigger power later, or just want braided lines, go with a -8 & be done wih it.

I have seen safe power to 700rwhp on twins, 60's and stock lines...how do you plan to run the reg up front?

Bigger feed line and inj. can make over 1000rwhp.

the fuel regulat setup is stock fuel line into driver rail, regular tee'd off the end of driver rail and out towards passanger, then a return to the tank.

I'm in the middle of this changeover myself. Just go -8 and be done with it

Not the best way to do it as you are drawing fuel off the rails right where it came in. The reg does not know if there was a drop at the other side of the rails. Anything around 700hp I would keep an eye on bank to bank leanness.
