Default Having problems removing puel pump assembly from gas tank, Is there a trick

I'm trying to replace stock fuel pump. I can't seem to twist the assembly off the fuel tank. I'm afraid it will break if I use too much pressure. I'm using a hammer and a screwdriver now.

thats what your suppost to use it a hammer and a screwdriver/brass punch. make sure the top of the tank is clean so you dont get dirt in your tank. your not going to break anything. i do fuel pumps all the time at work and some take more hammer time than others. lol.
