Default Whats this part called? I need a new one.

I got this pic off ls1howto. Im missing my stock one from when I started my HCI. Any help would be great. All I know so far is Evap silenoid. Is it that or the fuel evap silenoid?

thats the fuel tank evaperator solenoid. I had to replace mine as well, I forgot the part number, go to your local dealership or the GM parts website, view the exploded diagram of the fuel system. They are pretty cheap too.

Yes, that's the EVAP solenoid. Don't know what they cost - I took mine off and never looked back! Well.. maybe I did look back just to make sure I wasn't going to need it. So much for being a tough guy.

The EVAP (evaperative emissions) is a very good system and should be left in tact. It vents the fuel tank as needed.

Don't mess with Fuel safety. Not like it will net you any gains. Thats a real easy part to get you hands on for a couple bucks. any auto parts store will have it.
