I am getting ready to install a Racetronix pump and harness this weekend in my 98' and was just curios if more people were pulling power from the alternator or the battery. Instructions say you can use either, but is there really much difference?

I put mine on the alternator, but there is also a wire that goes straight from there to the battery. So electrically, it is the same poiint.
