95 LT1 - fuel pressure probs when 1/4 tank or less??
All,
I have a 95 LT1. I have a walbro 255 pump. I have a aeromotive fuel pressure regulator.
I have a fuel pressure guage mounted right at eye level (due to the time i took the top off my pistons when I lost fuel pressure....but that is another story).
Anyway, if I get down to 1/4 tank or less, under hard acceleration or cornering, my car will drop fuel pressure (dangerously low - less than 25 lbs).
1/2 - 1/4 tank, things get iffy sometimes - I don't trust it.
1/8 tank or less and moderate cornering or acceleration will kill fuel pressure - to the point the car will stumble and die.
Above 1/2 tank, everything is ok.
Suggestions to fix? Is this common with these cars? Did I have a baffle come off in the tank?

You did not mention the type of Walbro pump that you used.
The pump must properly fit inside the factory bucket or it will not draw fuel from the tank.
There is also a small rubber check valve in the bottom of the bucket. If it is damaged or missing, the bucket will not fill properly.
