Just read over the sticky above, and I'm wondering if there will be any variations involved if one attempted this mod on a GTO considering that our fuel tanks stand up, and may be a slightly different basket? etc

They are quite different & require extensive bucket modifications.

I did it on my car. Requires HACKING the bucket to get two of them in there. I'm about to add a third as well. We will see how that one goes. But I've had the 2 going for 2 years now with no issues. I always fill my tank when it gets below a 1/4 though.
