V8-V6 fuel pumps

Can you use the LS1 fuel pump in a V6 4th-gen Fbody? My borther's went out and Owrongly wants almost $400 for a V6 Fuel Pump. I know my Walbro 255lph didn't cost that much. So we're just wondering before we cut the trap door.

I was wondering the same thing I had a fuel pump die on me in my car. I just went on Ebay and got a complete unit from Delphi for 150 shipped to the door.
