Fuel pump issue
Searched but couldn't find any solid answers.
My 98 formula had problems making any power, turned out to be a frayed hose in the fuel pump assembly. I re installed the pump and assembly and the gas gauge immediately stopped working
I checked and the float lever can swig freely however it feels loose. I've searched for a sending unit on autozone however they Dont sell it.
Also the hose in the tank is a rubber fuel line and uses standard clamps which I believe have frayed the hose again.
I'm trying to kill two birds with one stone and could use some insight on how to get my gas gauge working again and get prevent the hose that connects to the fuel pump in tank from fraying

Make sure the float wire is snapped into the rheostat arm.
These are the correct, plastic, in tank fuel lines you want.
