Default Question about pumps

I have a stock displacement ls1 with 42# injectors running motor only... Is a stock pump on a 2001 camaro sufficent?

See here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/2638447-post1.html

Are those 42# injectors rated at 43.5psi (3 bar) OR 58psi (4 bar)?
The stock pump, 190 Lph, maxes out at 8 x 38LB injectors... so by math no. BUT what mods do you have? Likely if you are a stock displacement ls1...even with heads, cam, exhaust, intake, throttle body... you are not using but about 50% duty cycle .. likely equating to 34 or 36# injectors.

if you are having issues of maintaining fuel pressure, then no, you have maxed out the stock fuel pump. Also, if you don't have a fuel pressure gauge to monitor that, but you are seeing your AFR (With a wideband) go lean at high RPMs even though you have it tuned rich..then you have maxed out the stock pump

Best bet on that is to get the PnP 255 kit w/harness.
