Fuel Pump swap - New pump does not turn on with Key turned
Hey Guys,
Quick and dirty background:
Vehicle was a 1997 Jeep wrangler 2.5 4cyl. The Jeep is now LS1 powered.
I had driven the Jeep for short drives multiple times on the original 4 bangers fuel pump, never really had an issue.
I just swapped a 255lph Walbro in there, corvette regulator and filter. Hooked everything up the same way it was before, and the pump is not coming on when I turn the key forward. I have a fuel pressure gauge hooked up, and there is no pressure at the rails. Stumped for the moment, looking for some help/suggestions. Thx
(it was a direct plug and play swap) nothing special at all....

Make sure your ground wire is attached near the firewall on your TJ that is around your fuse block/power distribution. It is a black ground that you MUST have. Are you using the Painless harness or similar, your fuel pump relay will be that harness. If it not a fuse that may be your issue. Did you use the marine access hatch I recommended. if not you probably wish you had now. You will HEAR the pump momentary cycle.
