i have a 02 z28 camaro that i beleive the fuel pump is goin out on. it now takes repeated turns of the key to start the car and when i turn on the switch the first time i do not hear the pump kick on. i have been told that there is a valve that stops the pressure from bleeding off so the car will start?. but if the pump is goin out what you yall reccomend i upgrade to. auto zone told me like 400 bucks for a new one....so if im goin to drop that kind of money i might as well get one worth my while. any imput is great (P.S dont be afraid to make me feel stupid if u have a better idea)

Check out Racetronix a sponser on the right side of this page..I got my fuel unit and Walbro pump from them. The Walbro pump install is easy with the new fuel unit out of the car.. the just swap the whole fuel unit out. Do it before you are stranded!
