first off, what is your duty cycle and is the nitrous a wet or dry shot?

2ndly, is the fuel pump currently installed WITH or WITHOUT the PnP harness that is an optional purchase?
If WITHOUT, get it. The stock wiring & connection block is asking for a problem with that pump.

if dry, what injectors do you have? what is their current duty cycle at your max rpm?

the connection block (wiring harness) at the *** end of the car near the rear end, if those clips/pins that supply power to the pump are making a bad connection or are loose what so ever, they will get really hot and cause problems. I had this issue when I first installed my 255 pump.

I ended up installing the wiring harness so that I know the wire, fusing & connection are good.
