Default FAST 3/8 to AN6 adapter wont fit!!!

i have a FAST 54028G-KIT to complete the install of my 102 intake and fast rails on a ls1 f-body and i can not get the fuel line adapter on to save my life! its labeled as a 3/8 to AN6 adapter, just push it on the factory fuel line and attach your AN6 breaded fuel line to it....not happening! the inside of the fitting will take the factory hard line just fine, but the o rings inside of it seam to be to small. the o rings fit over a 5/16 line just fine, but will not fit over the 3/8 line. i took the back side of some drill bits (the chuck end) and pushed then into the fitting to check. 5/16 slides in the o rings just fine and fits snug, but there is wiggle room in the fitting its self. tried to push a 3/8 bit in and it will fit into the fitting, but as soon as it gets to the o rings it wont go any farther. did the manufacture make a mistake with these adapters and use the wrong o rings in them?

No clue about that FAST fitting. If you can't get it to work then get this one:

Went on extremely easy and no chance of blowing off like the other quick connect style.

They fit odd. Take the plastic lock piece out of the adapter fitting, and preinstall it on the fuel line. Then push the adapter over the line and lock piece. That worked for me

did you buy that fitting awhile ago? I didn't think anyplace still made them with the plastic release clip, and changed to the metal or 2 piece screw in clip. The fitting with the plastic clip suck new and get worse as you use them more, I would not use it and get get the better fitting one that will not leak or pop off like thouse have been known too.
If anything some of the plastic ones, you can change for the metal clip that come with the repair and stock replacement quick push ends (doorman, ect.) inside your AN ended fitting. If you wasted to keep using that push on style, and you can track down the better clip at a local store faster.

Do yourself a favor and order that fitting and wait until it comes in. There is absolutely no way that fitting can come off of the rail unlike the quick disconnects can

Yes don't use the old style fitting with the plastic lock.
Having difficulty installing the the Russell fittings for the first time?
spray some WD 40 inside the fitting it will slip right on.
