Default Need help draining tank

My car has been sitting for 4 years. Blew a piston and kinda lost interest half way through. Now I'm finally about ready to drop the motor in but I'm trying to figure out what to do about the gas. If I remember correctly I think there's like a quarter tank of gas. Was thinking about siphoning it but didn't no it'll there was some type of check valve or something . Need help asap!!!

There is a flapper valve at the top, that can be pushed aside when inserting the hose.
Push it aside to remove the hose.

My car sat for 2 years and ate through my walbro pump filter socks... They were falling apart and the gas smell was rank..
