Default Need Help with fuel rail swap

I currently have a 4.8 in my 69 chevelle with a ls1 intake. Finally able to get a good deal on a ls1 fuel rail and injectors. Looking to switch everything over this weekend.

Question I have is that the 4.8 fuel rail has 2 lines and the ls1 has one line.

What the best way to go about the switch.

Do I need to buy a fuel filter with a return? If so any ideas? Part number?

I don't think I can use the corvette regulator with the ls1 fuel rail.? Or can I?

All help is welcomed and thank you

Default fuel

taking a second look at the ls1 fuel rail is off a 99 Camaro. And if im not mistaken is has a fuel pressure dampner on it?? and that is not a regulator??

if so im assuming I can run the ls1 fuel rail with the corvette fuel filter/regulator combo?

Yes the Corvette pressure regulator/filter can be used, but why would you want to switch away from the return style regulator that you are currently using? Many people feel that it is better to have the fuel return nearer the fuel rail than the gas tank. I'm sure someone with more knowledge that me will chime in here.

more on looks for me. Just don't like the way the rail sticks up 3-4 inches. ive seen some of the corvette fuel rails with two lines but I already have the 1 line on the way.

Yep, the Corvette regulator/filter will solve the problem for you. Another set up could be an aftermarket return style regulator up front since you already have a return line going back to your tank. Supposedly it keeps the fuel cooler.
