I purchased and received this kit, the connector does not fit the evap purge valve even though it says no modification required!
The male connection is too short resulting in the female connector not clicking into place, it will slide straight off! I've ordered the new russel connectors part 644123 and 644113 in the hopes it will fit plus give a safer connection to the other hoses.

How did the 644123 work for you? I tried putting it on my factory return, feed, and evap, it wouldn't fit any, the male end was too short.

This is the straight one although there is no photo.

The Russel fitting uses that little horse shoe shaped piece to hold it on the line. That works pretty good. But if you're racing, they tend to fall off due to the vibration.
Flyin' Miata has a custom made connector that screws together. Much more secure. It's not listed on their site, you just have to contact them.
