Default Consensus on New Russell Quick Connects?

Although Russell has improved the design of their EFI Quick Connect to AN fittings with the slotted lock, are these still bulletproof enough to completely trust?

I will need to use them on the stock fuel rail and twice more on the WIX 33737 filter, so I want to ensure that they are totally reliable. Otherwise, I think I'm going to resort to just welding on -6AN fittings.

We've used them on many applications without issue[s].

How do you intend to "weld them on"??
