Default What size fitting?

Running a -6 line to my tank as a return and need a fitting to attach to the quick connect on the tank. What size do I need to run for that? Nate from Nasty performance said its a 3/8 but that seems a little too big because the stock feed is that size..

What year car? LT1 and 98 are 5/16" on the return and 99-02 are 3/8" on the return.

Oops, didn't realize posting from a phone doesn't include a signature. Its the 02 Trans Am in my signature.

So the return and feed (at least at the tank) are the same size or is the feed line at the tank actually bigger? I know at the rails the feed line is 3/8 so that's why I am curious.

Those are the ones I have been looking at but was considering going with the same thing from Fragola just to match the rest of my lines and fittings. But I like the secondary lock on the Russell fittings so I think those are what I will get.
