walbro 450 hose barb size?
I stopped by a local speed shop for some bbc header gaskets, and saw an aeromotive machined block top for the top of a fuel tank......had two outs 6an and a return. A nice piece, but I inquired and they said that aeromotive said it wont work for dual 450 pumps because the 6an is too small?
I dont know the outlet size of the 450 walbro pump?
It appears to be 3/8 barb to hose? And that some people are using 3/8 barb to 6an to a 6-6-8 Y block?
If thats the case how could dual 6 an outs not be enough?
Whats the 450 requirements for in tank set ups?
edit: Is a check valve needed at all? It should be built into the pump? But on a dual set up with one off, is a check valve needed?
And....it appears that the complete set up can be done for about $300 depending on the easy way out of a cell. Actually 346.60 to get to 10 an on the out side of the cell....and that includes a wiring bulk head at 24.97 ...The return can go in almost anywhere easy. I might use one of the sump outlets.

Yes that's what I saw. I didn't even get a price. I was surprised that they said, aeromotive said the 6an that it is, is not big enough for two 450s. So I question the outlet size of the 450?
Also the 346$ I got was using a straight 10 an to 10 an thru bulk head fitting to pass tgru the tank and a seperate wire bypass fuel tank fitting, to accomplish the same thing as the aeromotive piece for 65$
