boost-a-pump with fuel pump speed controller?
Hi Guys,
Is it possible to use a boost-a-pump with a fuel pump speed controller?
My idea was to use a single factory-style in tank pump, wired as stock. Then to supplement this, have a larger inline pump come on activated via a hobbs switch, but controlled by a fuel pump speed controller.
Does anyone see issues with this, or a way to simplify/cut costs? Perhaps due way with the speed controller and just let the big pump hit with the full voltage/100% duty cycle? Concerned this may heat the fuel too much...
For reference, this is for a max effort style build for a street/roll race/standing mile type build using E85 and a F1R procharger. Expected power is around 1000whp.
