Should I replace my fuel pump?
My engine is out of the car, and the car has not been run in 4+ years. I managed to siphon about 4-5 gallons out of the tank about a year ago. The shop was concerned that the fuel pump might need to be replaced. I have the car right now at a friends body shop. While I have it should I just replace the pump and what's a good aftermarket replacement? If I bring the car back to the shop and they have to replace it'll be $600 parts and labor.

If the car sat 3 years with old gas in it, it probably would be a good idea to change the pump. A new Racetronix pump will only run you about $200, and you can drop the tank or cut an access panel in the floor to do it yourself. It's not hard.
